Since the quarantine began, we have had to adjust some of our rituals for families to fit the current reality. One of the adjustments we have had to make has been our Walk of Life. Normally, in pre Covid times, we invite families to walk through the house with their loved one who has died, forming a procession with clinical staff and all other in-house volunteers and staff forming an honour guard as the family leaves through the front door.
