Hospice Simcoe Fundraisers
Our community has been incredibly supportive and very generous to Hospice Simcoe over the years and we continue to be amazed by the individuals, local businesses, service clubs and organizations that support us. We are so grateful for all the gifts that come to us through a variety of fundraising initiatives. Not only do the proceeds raised help us enormously, but the awareness of Hospice Simcoe and what we do is invaluable.
Whether large or small, collectively our community’s financial support enables us to deliver programs and services to all our clients, residents and their families without cost. We raise funds from our signature ‘Hospice Hosted’ annual fundraising events; our black tie Gala, Hike for Hospice, Golf for Hospice and Dish for Hospice.
Hike & Bike for Hospice 2024
Thank you to those who attended our Hike & Bike for Hospice on Sunday, May 5, 2024
We came together to remember loved ones and to celebrate friendships, while raising a record breaking help raise funds to support Hospice Simcoe’s residence and community programs.
A big THANK YOU for your generous support, this was a record-breaking year thanks to our hikers, bikers, volunteers, sponsors, participants, and staff for helping raise over $170,000!

‘Memories & Milestones’ Gala

We had a wonderful evening at Tangle Creek Golf Club while we celebrating 35 years of Hospice care in our community, and walking down memory lane. We enjoyed great food, entertainment, and we danced the night away!
Layne, “The Auctionista”, was a great host who ignited the evening with excitement during the speeches, games and challenges. Local Barrie Country-Rock-Soul band, Lakeside Groove, with our very own Garrett Lambert closed the night with great music and dancing!

Golf for Hospice Tournament 2023
A great day was had by all at the Barrie Golf & Country Club for our 8th annual Golf for Hospice fundraiser.
Thank you to all the participants, sponsors, volunteers, guest speakers, and family & friends for supporting Hospice Simcoe’s annual Golf for Hospice on Sept 11th at the Barrie Golf & Country Club. We are very grateful for your support!
Together, with your help, we raised an incredible $40,000 to go to support our end-of-life care services and bereavement support programs.
Community Hosted Events
Rounding off our fundraising efforts is the wonderful support we receive from ‘Community Hosted’ events. These are fundraisers held on behalf of Hospice Simcoe but organized and run independently. We are grateful to the many businesses, service clubs, organizations and families that donate the proceeds of these events to us.
