Community Support Programs
Support in my Home
Hospice Simcoe’s Visiting Hospice Service is a valuable part of the Palliative approach to care in the community. Our trained volunteers add to the support provided by your care circle and provide non-medical support in the comfort of your own home.
Grief and Bereavement Support
Hospice Simcoe provides emotional, spiritual and psychosocial support to individuals, families and agencies, experiencing grief due to loss of a loved one or friend. This support is available whether or not you have had previous contact with Hospice Simcoe.
Day Programs
Available to individuals diagnosed with a life limiting illness and those caring for a family member/friend diagnosed with a life limiting illness, our Day Programs give participants an opportunity to connect with others in a group setting and share their stories, while receiving support.
Children and Teen Bereavement
Whether the loss is impending or has already occurred, losing someone you care about can be devastating and can drastically impact one’s life, particularly for children and teens.
