Your generosity helps fund the exceptional end-of-life palliative care provided at our Residence, as well as our Community Grief & Bereavement Programs — all offered at no cost to those we serve.
These heartfelt efforts, of any amount, make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families during some of their most challenging times.

Kempenfelt Derby – June 2025

In support of the Kempenfelt Rotary Club and Hospice Simcoe
The 2025 Kempenfelt Derby, held at Georgian Downs on Tuesday, June 10th, was a thrilling and memorable evening filled with excitement, entertainment, and community spirit. We are incredibly grateful to be one of the recipients of the proceeds raised through this successful third-party fundraising event.
Guests enjoyed an electrifying night of live horse racing, delicious appetizers served by our dedicated volunteers, refreshing beverages, and plenty of photo-worthy moments. The VIP tent was buzzing with energy as supporters cheered on their picks and celebrated each win.
A standout highlight of the evening was the dazzling Treasure Chest raffle, featuring a stunning pair of custom-made diamond earrings generously donated by Michael Smiley Fine Jewellery. Congratulations to Kate, who had the lucky key and took home this incredible prize!
