May 1st marks the return of Hospice Simcoe’s Hike for Hospice and it’s in-person! The annual event is a tradition for many families to gather and remember loved ones, celebrate friendships, and help raise funds to support Hospice Simcoe’s residence and community programs. Every year, we welcome participants to gather pledges and join us at Sunnidale Park in Barrie to walk with family, friends, and co-workers in support of Hospice Simcoe. Our fundraising goal this year is $130,000.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, all expenses for this event have been covered. Therefore, 100% of the funds raised by participants will go directly to Hospice Simcoe’s programs and services. Hospice Simcoe continues to provide all our services at no cost. We rely on our community for more than 50% of our operating budget or approximately $1.3 million annually.
