COVID-19 Update

September 2021

The health, safety and well-being of our clients, residents, visitors, volunteers and staff are of the utmost importance to us. Hospice Simcoe is following Ministry directives and Public Health guidelines during the emergence and development of COVID-19 pandemic. We have a screening process in place, practice safe hand hygiene and wear required PPE.

Hospice Simcoe is here to provide support to anyone in need in our community.

We are continuing to provide one-to-one, groups, home visiting, day programs and bereavement support using virtual/online and telephone. In person face-to-face visits are limited to those who are deemed essential. I encourage you to visit our Community Support Programs page on our website for further details on programs we are offering at this time.

Our Residential Program remains open with continued precautionary measures and restricted visitor policy. Thank you for your ongoing dedication, understanding and cooperation during these turbulent times.

If you have any questions, please call our residence at 705-722-5995.

COVID-19 Local Impact Survey

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit wants to learn more about the impacts the COVID-19 pandemic is having on the residents of Simcoe Muskoka through an online survey. The survey is anonymous and no identifiable information will be collected. The survey explores the financial, mental, social, and physical impacts of the pandemic on individuals and families.  It is essential that we hear from a wide range of people that represent the full diversity in our communities. The survey data will be used to identify where there are gaps or hardships that need to be addressed.
